We realise most visitors to this site will be looking for information related to kidney disease. There are a number of kidney charities and other support organisations in the UK, each offering slightly different things, some of which are detailed below.

Additionally, we also provide signposting to organisations dealing with a range of other issues that young people with CKD may also be facing.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or a long term kidney patient Kidney Care UK have lots of information on all aspects of kidney health including over 65 leaflets covering topics such as dialysis, transplants, employment, sexual health, contraception, diet and lifestyle.

Patient Support
Kidney Care UK can offer you support through patient financial grants, respite breaks, telephone counselling, advocacy service and welfare and benefits health check.

Over 80 kidney-friendly recipes that will fit into the eating plans given to you by your dietitian including ideas of everyday and special occasion dishes.
